Mr. Rogers
I finally caved.
I've been fighting the urge to start a blog for the past six months. I would blame Mr. Rodgers - who succeeded in etching into my generation the belief that each of us is special - but that would leave me no different from the rest of my peers who have translated "special" into "entitled" and therefore without responsibility or fault.
So, in another attempt to define myself as different (um..."special" anyone? oh, the irony.) I'll take responsibility for my decision to start a blog.
Why did I decide to start a blog? I like reading blogs. I keep feeling like I should be keeping track on my life in some manner, other than my OCD-qualifying use of calendars and list making. Plus, there hasn't been nearly enough late nights spent writing since I graduated college.
Oh, and because I'm special, of course.
Sheesh.
